We are thrilled to share a momentous update with our community ~ an achievement that has been years in the making. In fact, we're proud to announce that we've reached not one, but two significant milestones on our journey to enhance our brand for the betterment of both people and the planet.
First and foremost, we are proud to announce that we have officially become a Certified B Corporation. This comes after years of dedicated effort to undertake the rigorous assessment by B Lab. The B stands for Benefit for All, and as the name indicates, this certification recognises organisations that utilise thriving business as a force for good, and meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. In becoming B Corp Certified we have joined a collective movement to change the rules of the business game.
Additionally, we are delighted to announce our organisation is now certified as carbon neutral by Climate Active. This certification extends to our global operations, including our business activities in Byron Bay, business travel, as well as the transport of our goods all around the world. Being carbon neutral in our operations is a significant step towards reducing our environmental footprint as part of our 2025 Sustainability Roadmap.
